Art Book Cart is a mobile art tool that allows participants to engage with books through hands-on arts and literacy projects, discussion questions, and extension activities. Commissioned by Springboard for the Arts and Great River Regional Libraries and operated by nonprofit, Crooked Zipper.

My co-artist and I were part of the pilot year of MNPAiR: Minnesota Parks Artists in Residence at Lake Bemidji State Park. This was a year-long residency involving more than 30 events and workshops as well as many projects. Find more info at Forecast Public Arts

Weathering Together was a project through Springboard for the Arts where I created and facilitated a project called, Micro Skill Share: Art for the Apocalypse to bolster communities for climate change. The project included maple syruping, mending, and dehydrating food.

During my Fergus Falls Community Arts Exchange through Springboard for the Arts, I partnered with the Otter Cove Children's Museum  to create a book about being an awesome kid citizen, kids' voting, and information to support caregivers on their journeys. 

Cloudmakers is a shadow and rod puppet show about an apprentice learning how different types of clouds are made. Performed at the Full Moon Puppet Show in 2024

Landsick is a crankie shadow puppet show about an uncle who has to leave home and a niece who helps him return. Performed at the Minneapolis Crankie Fest in 2023 

Ark 2.0 is a crankie about where the animals go when the world floods again. Performed in 2024.

Mail Love was a fundraiser in 2020 created to support student learning of the letter writing process. Money raised from t-shirt sales purchased stamps and funded the creation of letter writing learning materials.

The Read design was created to encourage young people to read more. The design was used for a very popular sticker and temporary tattoo.  Also created in Spanish. Contact me to request custom designs for stickers and temporary tattoos.

Home is... was a placemaking activity done in partnership with Project for Pride in Living and Springboard for the Arts in 2014 where young people were asked about their ideas of what 

home means to them, 

resoundingly they said "LOVE"

Created for St. Paul Open Streets University Ave in 2013, Sharing String, Sharing Stories was an opportunity for participants to share their string figure knowledge, cultures, and histories and try their hands 

on our 6' tall moving 

string figure machine.

Created for Northern Spark 2013, Community Clothesline was a community interactive art project encouraging the sharing and swapping of resources and knowledge, mending, sustainability, and fun.

What Do You Think Will Kill You? was an interactive art project for an exhibition called Art Feeds Us at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis. Participants added to the artwork by writing on paper marigold flowers the thing they think will lead to or cause their deaths. Part of a Dias de Los Muertos celebration.

After Sunset Shadow Troupe performed shadow puppet shows in many Minneapolis Parks in 2011, made possible by support of the MN Arts Board Multicultural Partnership Artist Grant.
